Check out this fun, creative DIY project for making unique ways to display photos, cards, business cards, tickets, coupons, messages, mementos and so much more. Its quick, easy and can be made almost entirely from repurposed parts that you may already have. Many of the versions I show I made for FREE; no material cost at all! I show several versions and explain multiple additional options that you can take to create your very own creative display items all based upon 3 main parts you can make and decorate; base, holder & connector (wire). This is great for gifts or so many other uses including:

- Picture holder
- Business card display
- Table numbers
- Ticket holders (ex. for a show or concert)
- Project tags (ex. for science fair project)
- Awards (make unique awards for friends or family)
- Individualized seat assignment tags
- Buffet item label
- Memento display
- Post card holder or display
- Reminder notices
- Announcements

It is fun to pick a theme and then get creative coming up with unique materials to bring your creative vision to life. In this video I repurposed / recycled all kinds of different items ranging from decorative materials to a small circuit board. See the video for many examples as well as decorating suggestions. Some of the items I used you may want to buy for your own projects:

- Decorative wood base: available in craft stores like Michaels
- Craft wire: available at craft stores and many hardware stores (I used 22 and 24 gauge). Other wire works too but I recommend staying with solid core wire (not the braided kind)
- Alligator clips: available at hardware stores, electronics stores (ex. Radio Shack, Frys) and some craft stores
- Paint
- Gloss coat sealant

Note: the examples in the video used display items that I printed on photo paper, card stock and business card blanks. I varied the size and weight for comparison purposes. For items that you may print to display from multiple angles I would suggest printing front and back even if the back is just printed with a design like the one I used in the "You Rock" example.
